An all-girl rock band must find a new lead singer before their debut performance at a high school festival.
This nearly all-Japanese production counts one prominent Korean member of its cast: Bae Doona, star of international hits The Host, Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance, and the upcoming Cloud Atlas.
The original music for the film was composed by former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha. Also featured are songs from the influential Japanese punk band The Blue Hearts.
The film appeared at a number of prominent festivals around the world, and received nominations for Best Film, Best Screenplay, Best Ensemble, and Supporting Actress (Bae Doona) from the U.S.-based Chlotrudis Society.
Running time is approx. 2 hrs.
